Fluke Cable Testing

⛔ Unsupported tester
Only Fluke (LinkWare) and WireXpert 4500 / 500 reports can be submitted. Please re-test with a supported tester and export that report. Submission is blocked until a Fluke or WireXpert report is provided.
PDF is auto-checked on upload:
- Every cable must show PASS
- Cable Type must be 1091 or 2091 (CommScope SYSTIMAX - warranty req.)
- 1091 is non-Plenum cable, 2091 is Plenum cable. Select the proper cable. You will get a warning if you select 2091.
- Headroom must be > 1 dB
Correct Fluke Cable Type setup (CommScope warranty):
Test Setup -> Edit -> Cable Type -> More -> Manufacturers -> CommScope (SYSTIMAX) -> 1091 (match NVP to your spool). Do NOT use a generic Cat 6/6A entry.
The default Test Limit (TIA Cat 6A) is fine - only the Cable Type must be 1091/2091.

Before you export, make sure:
- The NetSpot scale is set correctly - green = good, red = bad. A wrong scale makes a good survey look failed (and vice-versa).
- The survey covers the far walls and every room - walk the whole footprint. Gaps/uncovered rooms get flagged for manual review.

- Signal must be -75 dBm or better everywhere in the building (remember: closer to 0 is stronger - -75 up to 0 passes, -76 and more-negative fails)
- No dead zones or weak spots within walls

Serial Number / MAC List
Excel file with S/N, MAC, IDF #, Switch Port columns (we derive the 12-digit Cloud ID from the S/N + MAC)

- Patch panel port layout - the "Patch panel port / Switch port / Device" table (see example rows 24-36). Ports P1-01 through P1-04 must each have a Switch port and a Device entry.
Preferred: Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV. The 12-digit Cloud ID (church standard) is derived automatically from the S/N and MAC on this list together with the AP box-label photo - you do not add a Cloud ID column.
